Andrew Collberg, a young and talented singer-songwriter, is one of Tucson's most promising performers. If you are a fan of Elliott Smith or Bright Eyes - you should definitely check him out.
It's pretty rare to see 16 songs on a debut album. Actually it’s pretty rare to see 16 songs on any album, so it's clear that though he’s really just getting started in the music scene, Swedish-born Collberg definitely does not suffer from lack of material. But that’s not surprising when you learn that he's been playing and writing since the tender age of 7, when his musician father gave him a drum kit. Collberg later graduated to experimenting with recording on his own equipment and was probably the only 14-year-old subscriber to TapeOp Magazine, which is generally consumed by adult recording enthusiasts.
